Tippecanoe & Haunted Too Oct 27, 7 pm

Thursday October 27, 7 pm
McAllister Meeting Rooms
Downtown Library

Join us at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 27 in the Alfred J. and Dorothy N. McAllister Meeting Rooms A and B at the Downtown Library. Reference Librarians Mandie Roberts and Alison Moss lead a virtual tour of Lafayette locations associated with hauntings, mystery, and crime.

Hear tales of strange and unexplained area happenings. Listen and learn about local lore. Interested in local Civil War history? Explore the obscure Clark’s Hill train wreck that occurred on Halloween, 1864, and the frightening events that took place in its aftermath. Share your own experiences with local hauntings, too! They can occur when and where you least expect them!

For dozens of books and materials about the supernatural, ghosts, and haunted places, many specific to Indiana and Lafayette, check TIPCAT the online catalog at www.tcpl.lib.in.us.
